Calgary’s annual community cold plunge event hosted by Special Olympics Alberta and the Law Enforcement Torch Run, where brave participants take the icy dip into Arbour Lake to support athletes with intellectual disabilities. Plungers enjoy a thrilling, invigorating jump into the crisp lake water to build mental resilience, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and celebrate community spirit while raising funds for Special Olympics Alberta.

A powerful outdoor natural cold plunge destination in the Canadian Rockies, Alberta, Canada where adventurous plungers enjoy direct immersion in the fast-flowing, glacial-fed waters of the Bow River year-round. Water Temperature: ~32–64°F. Multiple public access points across Alberta (popular wild spots include Bowness Park in Calgary, Canmore, Cochrane, and sections near Banff National Park). Plungers experience a raw, invigorating reset in pristine mountain river water.
